DESCEND INTO MADNESS
The Timmons are a dysfunctional family of farmers trying to survive the 1930’s Great Depression and Dust Bowl, but on Black Sunday, when the deadliest dust storm in US History bombards their home, they’re forced to reconsider the meaning of ‘hard times’.
As the family shelters indoors, the farm’s environment begins to change. Unnatural events, both miraculous and horrific, unfold all around them-their inner most dark and intrusive desires chipping away self-control. By the end, the world they’ve adapted to devolves into a nightmare fueled scene of chaos.
From grandparents to children, this entire family of eleven has a role in what’s to come, but none more than sixteen y/o George Timmon. He’s hell-bent on ending their generational obligations with him. The opportunity will present itself, but in the least imaginable way possible.
Fans of ‘Vibes’ (IFYKYK) will LOVE this debut entry and be left wanting more. “Absolute disgusting madness. I’m not even sure how I’m supposed to feel after that... When can I buy it?” - Just Trust Me Bro.
Note from the Author:
This here is my debut novel. I spent 2.5 years fleshing it out, and it has been miserable. Loved every second too. Like most new writers, I couldn’t afford the full editorial process, so you may find a handful of mistakes here n’ there. Try not to judge too harshly; I’ll correct them as they come, especially if any are pointed out—can leave in a review. I’d like to believe my specific experiences and unique perspectives through my Autism helped to create something that feels different. That’ll ultimately be your decision. Other than that, thanks for checking me out. Follow my pages and leave reviews <3 Don't skip the trigger warning.
